One night, during the tenth year of the prophetic mission of Muhammad (peace be upon him), one of the most important events to mark the history of Islam took place, an event of miraculous knowledge which would direct the course of mankind: The night journey from the valley of Mecca to Jerusalem and the ascension from the sanctuary of the rock, crossing all dimensions, to the presence of divine sanctity.

This event, recorded in great detail throughout islamic history and mentioned in the Quran itself, is celebrated on the 26th day of the month of Rajab of the islamic calendar, this year coinciding with the first day of september.
